The safety and efficiency of modern tree work would simply not be where it is today if it weren’t for the specialized equipment used, and at Michigan Roots Tree Service LLC, we use it all. Each crew member and the equipment they operate play a vital role in the work we do.
Climbing is used primarily when access for larger equipment is limited. It is a very specialized and technical skill that takes years to master and is absolutely invaluable when needed. Our climbers use the latest ANSI and ASTM rated PPE and climbing gear while closely adhering to the ANSI Z133-2017 safety standard for tree work.
Bucket trucks and lifts are generally favored when better access to the tree is available. They allow for an added layer of safety and efficiency by removing some of the physical strain and limitations associated with climbing. They also speed up the job a fair amount and offer a little greater control to the operator.
Crane-assisted tree removal is often the safest most efficient option for removing large or hazardous trees. With the ability to lift and move entire sections of the tree with ease, jobs that would normally take days can now be done in hours with the help of a crane. They also make for less impact to the turf and landscaping below by allowing all heavy tree pieces to be safely lifted out and processed near the street rather than at the base of the tree.
We invest in quality, modern equipment to provide our customers with the safest, most efficient service possible. Whether it’s climbing, bucket lift or crane work, we have the right tool for the job.
